The exhibition organizers said that VietFish’s return after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic has brought a professional and international playground for managers, retailers, suppliers, seafood production, processing and exporting units meet, introduce new products, new technologies, cooperate in production and export.
After 24 years of organizing with the message “Asia’s Seafood House”, VietFish always invests in improving quality and services to make next year’s event larger in scale, converging on a variety of exhibition fields, promote cooperation opportunities and bring more value to all stakeholders in the seafood value chain.
Mr. Truong Dinh Hoe, General Secretary of Vasep informed that VietFish 2022 has gathered nearly 200 exhibitors with 362 exhibition booths from 15 countries participating in a variety of fields. This is not only a playground connecting seafood processing and exporting enterprises, but also a place to update information and new achievements of the seafood industry in Vietnam and the world such as aquatic breeds, animal feed, bioproducts, equipment technology, production and processing.
Mr. Tran Dinh Luan, Director of the Directorate of Fisheries, said that the rapid recovery of import markets after the COVID-19 pandemic along with fluctuations in the supply of white fish from Russia has paved the way for Vietnam’s seafood industry to accelerate its recovery and gain many advantages in the first quarters of 2022.
