Vietnam will host the 4th Global Conference on Sustainable Food Systems from April 24-27, 2023 in Hanoi with the theme “Transforming Food Systems for Healthy, Sustainable, Climate-Resilient and Inclusive Development in the Context of New Crises”.



The 4th Global Conference on Sustainable Food Systems is a ministerial conference with the participation of 300 delegates, including about 200 international delegates from countries, agencies of United Nations, international organizations.

The conference will examine the key barriers, challenges, and solutions related to the transformation of sustainable food systems while focusing on four issue groups: Global models and structures for food systems, national and local policies and governance for food systems, consumption and production models for food systems, and methods for implementing food system transformation.

In addition, the conference will introduce good models, good examples of initiatives related to the implementation of the national plan to transform food and food systems at the national and local levels, as well as initiatives of the United Nations Summit on Food Systems (UNFSS).

During the conference, in addition to the main sessions, there will be side events and exhibitions to promote Vietnam's agricultural achievements and its food systems, including Vietnamese specialties and products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program.
