According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, estimated export value of wood and wood products in March 2021 reached 1.43 billion USD, bringing the export value of wood and wood products in the first three months of 2021 to 3.7 billion USD, an increase of 41.5% over the same period in 2020. The United States, China, Japan and South Korea, 4 biggest import markets for wood and wood products of Vietnam in the first 2 months of 2021, account for 85.5% of the total export value of wood and wood products. In the first 2 months of 2021, the export value of wood and wood products increased in most markets, except for Taiwan (-34.3%) and the UK (-11%).
